Pretraga je počela iz mesta Rudare, sve do Ceranjske reke u trajanju od dva i po časa. Nivo reke Ibar je bio visok, tako da je potraga obustavljena, zbog visokog vodostaja, dok se ne spusti na uobičajeni nivo.
